Walter Roark, III ('66) and his family and many friends. I am told that Walter suffered a stroke last Wednesday. The word that I have receive is that he has some paralysis at this time. Weddings & Engagements

Elizabeth Anne Lester (GHS Class of 2002) and Jason Allen Jennings (GHS Class of 2002) are engaged to be married on June 28, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Greenwood. They are both Clemson graduates (Class of 2006). Beth is a third grade teacher in NC and Jason is finishing up his 2nd year of law school at Campbell University in NC. Beth and Jason have dated since the 9th grade! Beth is the daughter of Wayne and Elaine Lester of Greenwood, SC, Jason is the son of Jerry and Claudia Jennings, Greenwood, SC.

ON THE MOVE - Promotion, Relocating, Graduating

Congratulations To

John C. McGee (GHS class of 1976) is a missionary with Campus Crusades for Christ International (www.ccci.org) headquartered in Orlando, Florida. He is married to Susan Swails of Florence, NC, and they have a 1 year old little boy, Stephen. John and Susan are expecting their second child in June. John and Susan are working with international students at the University of Florida, and ministering to these international students and telling them about Christianity. They publish a monthly newsletter telling of their work. John is presently taking seminary classes, and Susan is an ordained minister. Susan spent 7 years in mainland China as a missionary, and when she returned to the US, she met John, and the rest is history. They are a husband and wife missionary team. They are extremely busy now with a new family and all the work they are doing with CCCI. The new baby is scheduled to arrive on June 16th.
